The Return of Arktoons

Arkhaven Comics is gearing up to add new creators, new series, and new episodes

Despite the release of the new front end and hitting a major milestone of 15 million views, the last few months have been relatively dormant on Arktoons due to a number of changes taking place behind the scenes. But a new dev lead has taken the reins, and is working with the publisher and the production editor to bring the back end up to date and make it easier for a) new creators to join the platform and b) existing creators to create new series.

Arktoons already has 5,718 comics and illustrated text episodes available for reading on the site. Among the more popular comics on the site are Hypergamouse, Alt-Hero, Alt-Hero: Q, Midnight’s War, and Paper Doll Veronika. The most popular text episodes, written by top authors such as Chuck Dixon and John C. Wright, are The Sidewinders, Quantum Mortis: A Mind Programmed, The Golden Age, and Wardogs Incorporated.

Arktoons provides for a mix of text and illustrations one will not see on any other toons site. This example is taken from a Wardogs Inc. episode.

Look for new series to launch on Arktoons this summer, most notably, the much-anticipated Black Warrant from Chuck Dixon. Imagine The Punisher, if the character was more ruthless, more motivated by justice than by revenge, and if he wasn’t being held back by the limitations imposed upon The Legend by Marvel Comics.
